In the Beginning
It all started in Italy an iconic home of Art, with a spark of creativity, a desire to fill a void in the world of accessories. What if we were able to bring the beauty of Renaissance artwork, otherwise protected in a museum anew in the modern world?

At Mimi by Mimi, we believe that fashion is an art form, and our exquisite collection of stylish and versatile tote bags for modern women is a testament to this belief. Founded in 2024 in the heart of London by the visionary designer Maria, Mimi by Mimi has quickly become a beacon of elegance and sophistication in the world of fashion. We believe in wearable art where style meets versatility and luxury intertwines with practicality.
With this need, our founder, Maria, a visionary designer with an innate passion for art and fashion, embarked on a journey to create something truly exceptional.
Maria
Her passion for fashion has deep roots. Ever since she was a child, Maria, along with her sisters used to have fun creating clothes with the “Foulard” (borrowing my Mother's of course) by weaving and knotting them together. Organising a real collection with a final fashion show, having my beloved Mother as the only spectator. Her my Number One Fan.
"Growing up my creative side was disruptive, so I decided to enrol in the faculty of 'Industrial Design for Fashion' based in Italy. After my studies, in search of inspiration and better opportunities, I decided to move to London. Where I immersed myself in a new reality, a mix of different ethnicities and a riot of colours.
This is where 'Mimì' came to life, encapsulating my passion and love for Art (in all its forms) and Nature."
